Ace made submissions on bill 175 to the standing committee on the legislative a***embly on june 16, 2020. |
4 |
Bill 175 proposes sweeping changes to the home care system in ontario. ıf pa***ed, it will adversely affect the more than 700,000 people who rely on home care, the majority of whom are seniors. the bill also has implications for the provision of care in public and private hospitals and for the delivery of non-licenced congregate care. this is not the time to be pa***ing legislation which so profoundly changes health care in ontario. |
5 |
Ace recommends the withdrawal of bill 175 in its entirety, pending further study and broad consultation with key stakeholders, particularly seniors and disability-rights advocacy groups, especially in light of the lessons that can be learned during covıd-19. |
